A trilogy of two sister cities: The Beauty of Vancouver and Hong Kong

Even with the Pacific Ocean between them, Vancouver and Hong Kong have elements that breed familial similarity that go beyond the makeup of their inhabitants. Mountains to the north, ocean to the west – it is Vancouver's environmental compass. For Hong Kong, the South China Sea hugs the island and unites in Victoria Harbour.

There is a natural beauty in each city that draws visitors/transplants alike. Family can be defined as a group of persons of common ancestry; a group of things related to shared characteristics. Vancouver and Hong Kong are indeed sisters, sharing July 1st as a remarkable day.
